well when we first moved in we asked if we could get a puppy at our rented home they agreed to a small dog and we got a legal doc stating saying small dog. Our dog managed to run out the door and get knocked over and had to be put to sleep :(. its been a wee while now but i don't want to have a dog again and would like a cat ive asked my landlord but she has said no i don't understand this as we had a puppy that peed all over her carpet and caused more problems than a adult ragdoll cat would cause. i really don't understand why?we have all our own furniture in the house.

Hi. Thought I'd ask another question about my cats while I'm on!!!
I've 3 cats, aged nearly 2 years.
One of the cats (a female) scratches and digs her claws into anything all the time. Shes ruined my sofas, my clothes, my curtains...anything she can get her claws into she will.
Shes a gorgeously loving cat and tries to jump up for cuddles all the time. She will not stop digging her claws into my clothes and normally gets them stuck. Other people that visit moan as she jumps on them and often pulls their clothes too. She has had her claws clipped and regularly goes outside. She also has a scratch pole. Why does she do this??? She has started to walk into my front room and just dig her claws into my rugs...like shes scratching, and my net curtains!!!
Sorry for the long essay but the extent that shes ruining stuff and i'm having to "unclip" her from things shes got her claws stuck in is driving me mad.
Love her to bits but I cant live with this anymore.
Does anyone have any ideas or ever heard of cats doing this before???
Thanks, Sarah
